BR 2-14: The Mouse's Wedding

This story is about father mouse, mother mouse, the sun, a cloud, the wind, a wall and a handsome young mouse. Once there was a family of mice. The family is father mouse, mother mouse and little miss mouse. And then one day, miss mouse wasn’t so little anymore. Father mouse thought it is time miss mouse got married.

The family went to journey. Father thought we must find miss mouse the best, most powerful husband in the world. Father mouse thought for moment. The sun is the best because he makes our days bright and warm, and helps the flowers grow. The moment mouse family climbed a high mountain to ask sun. Father thought sun is more powerful than anyone else in the world, but the sun doesn’t think so because cloud can cover sun’s face, and block all his light and warmth. There’s nothing he can do.


Then, the family thought we must talk to the cloud. The family talked the cloud. Father said to the cloud that he is more powerful than anyone else in the world, but the cloud doesn’t think so because wind can push cloud around, this way and that way. There’s nothing he can do.

Then, the family thought we must talk to the wind. The family talked the wind. Father said to wind that he is more powerful than anyone else in the world, but the wind doesn’t think so because the wind can blow where he like, but when he meet a wall, there’s nothing he can do.

Then, the family talked the wall. Father said to wall that he is more powerful than anyone else in the world, but the wall doesn’t think so because he may look strong and tall, but he can feel a little mouse, nibbling him to dust. There’s nothing he can do.

There was a mousehole and a handsome young mouse. Father said to the mouse that he is more powerful than anyone else in the world. Everyone thought he is the most powerful man. So, the mice were married next to the wall.
